System Overview:
This system consists of a single JL Audio 12" W-0 subwoofer powered with a Rockford Fosgate 120.2 amplifier. The 2 channel amp was bridged and ran into a mono configuration to give the speaker the complete 240 watts max power as indicated by Rockfords birth sheet. The box was built to JL's specifications for the DB monster sealed enclosure (1.25 cubic ft.). The box was then installed and we constructed the amplifier rack. We flush mounted the amp keeping all the wires hidden and then installed the speaker grille. We used medium gray carpet to match the current interior providing a nice clean look.
The Verdict:
I was defiantly impressed with the sound quality along with a good bass response covering a wide range of frequencies. This system wont make your ears bleed due to excessive SPL, but it will surly satisfy the needs of your average consumer in his/her daily driver.
